Google Arts & Culture | Arte Laguna Prize

Google Arts & Culture is the Google platform that allows users to explore works of art, artifacts and much more among over 2000 museums, archives and organizations from 80 countries that have worked with the Google Cultural Institute to share their collections and their stories. The platform is designed as a place to explore and savor art and culture online. Google Arts & Culture is a creation of the Google Cultural Institute.

Arte Laguna Prize joins Google Arts & Culture making 173 works from the 13th and 14th editions available online. In the coming months, the finalists of the 15th edition will also be included and the collection will be enriched year by year with the finalist works of the next editions.

The platform includes the digital collection and the stories.

The digital collection
173 works from the 13th and 14th edition of Arte Laguna Prize have already been digitized. The available works range from painting to photography, from sculpture to video art, from digital art to performance, from land and urban art to design.

The stories
The stories offer an insights on the works of the overall winners or on some themes such as those dedicated to some of the most innovative techniques like virtual art or design or focus on the partners of Arte Laguna Prize that each year offer a series of special prizes (residencies of art, gallery exhibitions, exhibitions in international festivals) and choose an artist to collaborate with.
