Every year, thanks to MoCA Association, artists from Arte Laguna Prize have the opportunity to partecipate in a beautiful journey of cultural events around the Italian territory. Many associations, partners, regional institutions and so on, welcome the best artworks to exhibit them in their exhibition spaces.

Meet the Artist | JAH

Discover the new meetings with the artists of Arte Laguna World and Arte Laguna Prize artists between May and August. The first, on Sunday, May 12, will be held in the center of Mestre (VE) with artist Giacomo Bettega, aka Jah.

His Street Art works have already come to life in the urban centers of Treviso, corroborating the corners of the city with works of art that have a dual purpose: to have a positive impact in the redevelopment of urban areas and the conveying of messages with an ethical value.

First a restorer, he has found in the practice of Street Art his language.

Arte Laguna Prize 2024 | 18th and 19th Edition

Displaying more than 200 artworks by as many artists from over 50 countries, Arte Laguna Prize, which from 2021 takes place every two years, presents the 18th and 19th edition finalists’ exhibition from November 16 to December 8, 2024.

An extraordinary location of 4000 square meters, the Arsenale Nord of Venice welcomes the works selected in the last two editions for each of the ten award categories: Painting, Sculpture and Installation, Photographic Art, Video Art and Short Films, Performance, Digital Art, Digital Graphics and Cartoons, Land Art, Urban Art and Street Art, Art Design.

The finalists will be chosen among thousand applicants by two juries, one for each edition, composed of internationally known curators, museum directors and art experts.  The two winners – who will be announced during the opening of the exhibition, Saturday 16 of November – will be awarded a prize of 10,000 euros each.

Several Special Prizes are also offered. These relevant awards include the production of artworks, a worldwide network of residences, the chance to exhibit in important international galleries and festivals, collaborations with companies and cash prizes.

Therefore Arte Laguna Prize confirms itself as one of the richest contemporary art competitions in terms of opportunities for artists.
