LAST WEEKEND TO VISIT THE DOUBLE EXHIBITION AT THE ARSENALE OF VENICE BUT MANY NEW COLLABORATIONS HAVE ALREADY STARTED

VENEZIA – The double exhibition at the Arsenale Nord of Venice is coming to an end but Arte Laguna Prize has already started the collaborations for the 16th edition and applications are open until November 30, 2021. Following the success of the exhibition at the Arsenale of Venice, which will end with the exclusive Finissage on Saturday 20 November at 5 pm, the famous competition dedicated to contemporary art and design founded in 2006 by the Cultural Association MoCA of Venice, returns with a new international jury and a vast program of opportunities for artists and creatives from all over the world to propose new talents for the next exhibition.

Arte Laguna Prize has been awarded with a medal by the President of the Italian Republic and has the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of the Territory and the Sea, the Veneto Region, the Municipality of Venice, the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and the European Institute of Design.

THE JURY
The jury is composed of important curators and directors of museums operating in different countries:

Kobi Ben-Meir (Israel) – Chief Curator of Haifa Museum of Art
Louise Fedotov-Clements (United Kingdom) – Artistic Director, QUAD & Director, FORMAT International Photography Festival
Pasquale Lettieri (Italy) – Curator, critic, historian, academic and journalist
Alka Pande (India) – Consultant Arts Advisor and Curator, Visual Arts Gallery, India Habitat Centre in New Delhi
Danilo Premoli (Italy) – Architect, Designer, Artist
Alisa Prudnikova (Russia) – founder, commissioner and artistic director of the Ural Industrial Biennial

The jurors will select the 120 artists who will exhibit at the Arsenale Nord of Venice during the next collective exhibition.

The company Bios Line of Padua (Italy) will award with 5,000 euros the winning proposal for a site-specific installation that enhances the company’s entrance.

Art Galleries
Cris Contini Contemporary in London (United Kingdom) will select an artist for a solo exhibition starting in 2022.

Festivals and Exhibitions
Art Nova 100 in Beijing (China) will exhibit the 10 finalist videos at the Guardian Art Center in 2022.

Exhibitions in Veneto – The Land of Venice
Diffusion of the works of Arte Laguna Prize in the “Land of Venice” with exhibitions in Venetian Villas, Castles and Historic Houses.

Sustainability and Art
Prize of 3,000 euros for the winning work or project that enhances the RRR strategies (Reuse, Recycle, Reduce) in the context of preserving biodiversity as a strategy to use the resources of nature in a sustainable way. The prize is realized with the support of EcorNaturaSì and Ca’ Foscari Sostenibile of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.

All artists who apply to Arte Laguna Prize have online visibility and can sell their works on the platform Arte Laguna World.
