Hong Museum currently has two branches in Shanghai and Zhuji, both of which are social service institutions. The founder,Ms. Li Hanying, is the current director of the museum. Li Hanying, born in 1971 in Zhuji, Zhejiang, China. She is a renowned Chinese entrepreneur, art collector, curator, and vice president of Hongdi Investment Group.
Hong Museum (Shanghai) was established in 2016, with the full name “Shanghai Hongyi Art Museum”,located on the 11th floor of 1818 Huangxing Road, Yangpu District, Shanghai ,China,. It covers an area of nearly 2000 square meters and an exhibition line of about 400 meters. The art museum play a important role in surrounding large residential areas, Wujiaochang commercial district, and many universities in Yangpu district.
Hong Museum (Zhuji) was established in 2021, with the full name “Zhuji Hongyi Art Museum”. It is located in Building 2, Yunmanwu Art Hotel, Jinan Street, Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province, China. The architectural building covers 20000 square meters and continue to expand area., with beautiful scenery and convenient transportation. It takes about 2 hours to get here from Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, and Ningbo. The building integrates functions such as exhibition hall, research room, publishing hall, cultural and creative area, Yaxue Hall, pottery Hall, accommodation, catering, leisure, etc. It is a large-scale cultural and tourism complex with an art theme, and accommodate 500 people at a time now and will be more after expanding.
The academic positioning of Hong Museum is to study oil painting art and contemporary art. Previously, the main focus was on the research of Chinese oil painting history and exhibitions of famous artists. Over a hundred individual and joint exhibitions of Chinese oil painting masters have been successfully held. In addition, we jointly initiated and hosted large-scale exhibitions and activities such as “Research and Beyond”, “Universal Watercolor Exposition”, and “Walking with Famous Artists”, more than ten thousands on-site participants. Shanghai and Zhuji Hong Museum have hosted and jointly organized over hundreds of activities such as sketching, painting camps, art lectures, and public welfare classes. We also have been developed many academic brands and topics . Now, Hong Museum has great influence in the field of Chinese art, with complete hardware and software facilities and rich experience in organizing large-scale events.
The future focus of Hong Museum will gradually towards youth art and international cooperation, striving to explore the possibilities, unknowns, and universality of art development in an international perspective.
