Gallery Studio 76 is a contemporary art space based in Bucharest, located within the premises of the Combinatul Fondului Plastic, an institution belonging to the Union of Visual Artists of Romania. The gallery operates as an open platform for artistic dialogue, dedicated to promoting contemporary art and fostering national and international cultural exchange.
The main mission of Gallery Studio 76 is to create strong connections between artists from Romania and those from around the world through the development of relevant contemporary artistic and cultural projects. The gallery supports both emerging and established artists, offering a professional framework for exhibition, collaboration, and artistic experimentation.
Gallery Studio 76 hosts solo and group exhibitions, curatorial projects, artist residencies, and interdisciplinary cultural events, actively contributing to the development of the local contemporary art scene and its integration into an international artistic network. The gallery’s activity is coordinated by Chief Curator Kornelija Koneska, whose curatorial vision focuses on intercultural dialogue, artistic mobility, and the exploration of current directions in contemporary art.
