Founded in New York in 2008, Crossing Art is dedicated to fostering dialogue and exchange in contemporary art across cultures. Since its establishment, the gallery has presented more than one hundred exhibitions, public art projects, and cultural initiatives worldwide. Situated in the heart of Chelsea, alongside many of the United States’ leading art institutions, Crossing Art has cultivated a distinctive platform for international artistic collaboration and cross-cultural engagement.
Bridging the artistic landscapes of the United States and China, Crossing Art provides comprehensive services to artists, collectors, and institutional partners through museum and gallery exhibitions, public art commissions, and digital platforms. Committed to supporting both emerging and established contemporary artists from Asia and the West, the gallery creates meaningful opportunities for cultural exchange while contributing to the evolving global art ecosystem.
Crossing Art Room, the gallery’s Shanghai space, is a multidisciplinary cultural venue comprising a contemporary exhibition gallery, café, and art store. Building upon Crossing Art’s international perspective, it serves as a dynamic platform for artistic experimentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and public engagement, introducing diverse contemporary practices and fostering new conversations within Shanghai’s cultural landscape.
Crossing Art also operates a second exhibition space at the Shanghai International Equestrian Center, extending its exhibition program within one of the city’s premier cultural and sporting destinations. The venue presents rotating contemporary art exhibitions, site-responsive installations, and special cultural projects, creating new opportunities for artists to engage diverse audiences. By integrating contemporary art into a dynamic public setting, the space reflects Crossing Art’s commitment to interdisciplinary exchange and accessible cultural engagement.
