Art Residency Galliani | Reggio Emilia, Italy

The artistic residency takes place in the adjacent studios of the artists Michelangelo and Omar Galliani, both protagonists of the national and international art scene.

The studios are located in Montecchio Emilia (province of Reggio Emilia) a few steps from the bed of the river Enza. In the center of the city stands an ancient castle of the Matildic period (we are a few kilometers from Canossa), which preserves an early Christian burial ground of considerable value.

The studios are very different from each other by virtue of the different artistic researches, one dedicated entirely to marble sculpture, (therefore equipped with the necessary equipment to carry out this work), the other for drawing and painting.

Being close, they allow the artist in residence a quick interchange between the two and greater ease in completing the work that involves design, graphic and executive phases.
