A small yellow Canary is kept in a bird cage made of ice. As the cage melts, the boundary between being trapped and free gradually disappears. This project was realized in the Caldera de Taburiente National Park on the Canary Island of La Palma (Spain), on June 1st, 2019. The entire melting process was documented by video. The film shows a single image section in which the birdcage made of ice slowly melts over a period of 90 minutes.
