“Filtro de louça” depicts an industrialized support for filtered water, an object very common in Brazil, especially in Paula’s region – the Northeast. By painting images representing everyday objects, Siebra draws what we can perceive not only as an arsenal of domestic life but also as a new way of looking into banal instruments that gain another dimension when took from the reality they commonly exist and are put into a more silent, empty context.
