Description
“Beyond Life”, 100 x 80 cm oil on canvas, is a plastic construction that represents the transmutation of a technological entity, to the Divine plane and its redemption in the afterlife. This Paint tries to represent an apotheosis in the Greek sense of the word, where the artist searches with his particular vision of “The Divine” and through a prosaic language, in which the images are specially selected and worked with a style based on the Baroque to resignify them from there through an aesthetic contemporary close to Pop and Kitsch, so that from there they question the viewer in relation to the unexpected experience of facing a kind of satire of a classical apotheosis made with a pictorial style similar to the classical one, but in which there are certain symbols, such as the broken column that refers to a melancholy for the lost past, in which the symbols of “The Divine” to which an apotheosis refers once again became relevant for the construction of the cultural development of Humanity.
