The Art Department is dedicated to providing resources for the production of inspiring art projects and organizing educational programs in order to expand awareness through contemporary art.

Since 2011, The Art Department has been organising International Art Residency Programs in Bodrum, Turkey at Casa dell’Arte Hotel of Arts & Leisure. The Art Department is also responsible for the management of The Büyükkuşoğlu Family Collection and the cultural programming at Casa dell’Arte Hotel of Arts & Leisure. Casa dell’Arte Hotel of Arts & Leisure, Turkey’s first boutique art hotel founded by Büyükkuşoğlu family displays the Büyükkuşoğlu collection, as well as hosting exhibitions by local and international artists at the hotel gallery through the summer.

The Art Department takes advantage of the off-season period at Casa dell`Arte in order to share the hotel’s resources with artists, and have Bodrum become a production site for contemporary art inspired by the area and the local community. Casa dell’Arte Art Residency Program is considered as one of the very first residencies in Turkey. The purpose of Casa dell’Arte Art Residency Program is to develop a network of young artists by creating a friendly environment for their artistic production and supporting their projects both during and after the residency period.

The program takes place at Casa dell’Arte Hotel in Bodrum,Torba, located in the southwest of Turkey, during the off-season period. Artists-in-residence work together, exchange ideas and experience the location and the local life of Bodrum.
