For the 13th edition of Arte Laguna Prize, the renowned confectionery company of Castelfranco Veneto Fraccaro Spumadoro joined the “Business for Art” initiative, thanks to which artists and creatives from all over the world had the chance to submit a new packaging proposal for one of Fraccaro’s products.
Among the over 100 projects presented, the company selected the one by Amelia Corvino (Udine, 1975), who was able to interpret the company spirit in a unique and recognizable way, proposing a story in images to dress a high-quality product with art.
The result of the collaboration is the creation of a limited-edition package for an exclusive Christmas product, which will be officially presented on Friday 4 October at Fraccaro Spumadoro’s production spaces..
The Limited-Edition packaging is inspired by the famous novel “The Prince Nutcracker” by Hoffmann which tells a story set on Christmas night: a magical fairy tale that, year after year, makes adults and children dream. A real collector’s item that shows the reproduction of an original artwork. The box can be used to keep precious objects and the lid can be turned into a splendid painting.
The confectionery art of Pasticceria Fraccaro is perfectly represented by this union: art and fine craftsmanship fused together in a limited-edition work to be savored first, and preserved then.
During the presentation, which will open with a tasting of the Fraccaro pastry panettone, fifty boxes will be signed by the artist.
Fraccaro Spumadoro was founded in 1932 when Elena and Giovanni Fraccaro opened a small bakery in Castelfranco Veneto. From this bakery begins a confectionery tradition that will become renowned over time. A success that is based on the quality of the raw materials used, the skilled craftsmanship and the elegant packaging with a strong appeal, all distinctive characteristics of the company’s products.
