The dialogue between Open and Arte Laguna Prize

The fertile dialogue between OPEN and the Arte Laguna Prize generates liveliness outside walls and museum perimeters.

Also this year, on display at the Venice Arsenale, OPEN presents one artist selected from the last International Exhibition of Sculptures and Installations founded and curated by Paolo De Grandis and organized by PDG Arte Communications, with which the Arte Laguna Prize has been collaborating for years. OPEN, with its unique idea of displaying contemporary sculpture outdoors, is encouraging the social fabric to embrace a new vision of the city by transforming the urban landscape into an open-air artistic scene and by offering the public a new perception of art.
From March 25 to April 9 the work Skultoflower by artist Stefano Bressani will be featured in the exhibition of the 11th Arte Laguna Prize.

Artist: Stefano Bressani
Master of a unique artistic technique of which he is also the founder, Stefano Bressani was born in Pavia in 1973. Since he was a child, he developed a passion for the visual arts and chromatic experimentation. Recognized as an innovative artist, Bressani has participated in numerous exhibitions in galleries and museums around the world.

Artwork description: Skultoflower
The so-called dressed sculptures realized by Bressani unite different artistic languages and invite us to an unusual chromatic journey through time, dimensions and technique. The fragmentation and re-composition of shapes reveal an almost hypnotic geometrical effect. In the sculpture Skultoflower the cubist variations meet the pop art elements, opening the artwork to an oneiric dialogue with the environment and the viewer as well.
Curator: Serena Mormino
