Artist in Residence "India Art Residency"

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: INDIA ART RESIDENCY

INDIA ART RESIDENCY
in collaboration with Technymon

Mumbai, India

The collaboration between Arte Laguna Prize and the company Technymon began in September 2011.
Technymon, that is part of The Mongodi group, is one of the SMEs which have internationalized their business, by opening some productive branches in Europe, USA, Brazil, India while keeping their main office in Italy. The spirit of the group is to be “world citizens” by participating in the social, economic, and cultural life of the nation it works in and thus becoming an integral part of the society. This conviction has been the starting point of a cultural project of wide international scope, aimed at the interchange and the diffusion of any expression of creativity. In order to develop this project, Technymon started to establish some cooperative relations with different realities  and for this reason the collaboration with Arte Laguna Prize originated.

This residency gives the opportunity to the artists of the Arte Laguna Prize to stay for one month in Mumbai in order to carry out a new artistic project inspired by the city and the local culture
